Hyperlocal, Inc. has further committed to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact the EU DPAs for more information or to file a complaint. Information Collection and Use
Hyperlocal is the sole owner of the information collected on our corporate web site, www. hyperlocalplatform.com. hyperlocalplatform.comllects information at several different points on our Web site. Information collected through our corporate site, such as name, address, and phone number, is only collected for purposes of engaging in a sales dialog per a prospect’s request. Information collected via the Hyperlocal application is collected on behalf of our customers for event registration or for users of the Hyperlocal administrative application.
Certain modules of the Hyperlocal application allow the communication between direct users, however no end user details are shared unless explicitly requested to be so by both parties. Users have the option to participate in this activity for the purpose of contacting by email or regular mail. A user must provide the transaction information (account transactions), user’s login information, user’s identity certificate, user’s employer, organization department user is employed, user’s job title, user’s home contact information, user’s business contact information, business/organization name, department/division of business/organization and business/organization identity certificate. It is optional for the user to provide User’s Identity Certificate, User’s Employer, Organization Department User is Employed, User’s Job Title, User’s Home Contact Information, User’s Business Contact Information, Business/Organization Name, Department/Division of Business/Organization and Business/Organization Identity Certificate.
We encourage users to provide optional information so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site. The reason we use this information is to complete the current transaction, contact by email or regular mail and understand your interests.
Tracking Technologies
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. Hyperlocal uses Website data to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users personal information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to tailor a user’s visit to our Web site, and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them.

hyperlocalplatform.comllects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. Hyperlocal works with its Clients to help them provide notice to their customers concerning, the purpose for which personal information is collected.
We collect information for our clients, if you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the client that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.
We have no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Hyperlocal’s Client (the data controller). If the Client requests us to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.
We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Tell-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Hyperlocal stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

Blog
Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Social Media Features & Widgets

Correcting, Updating, Deleting, Deactivating Personal Information
